What we store

From the grown-up: their email and, if they signed in with Google, the name and picture Google gives us.

From the child: the name the grown-up gave them, an emoji, a colour and a username. We don't ask for their email, phone or date of birth.

From the household: the chores, rewards, tokens and the history of movements.

Children's accounts

They're created by the grown-up of the house, not by the child. The username assigned is internal and can't receive email.

A child only sees their own things and their household's. They never see other families' data, nor a sibling's not-yet-approved suggestions.

Photos

Some chores ask for a photo as proof. That photo is seen only by a grown-up of that same household.

It's deleted forever as soon as the grown-up approves or rejects the chore. No copy is kept, it isn't used for anything else, and it trains no system.

If a photo is uploaded and never reviewed, an automatic process deletes it anyway.

For how long

Household data is kept for as long as the account exists.

Photos, only until they're reviewed.

How to delete everything

From Settings → Delete my account. If you're the only grown-up, the whole house goes: children, tokens, history, chores, rewards and any photos left.

It's immediate and can't be undone. We don't keep a copy just in case.

If other grown-ups remain in the house, only you leave and the data stays theirs.

Who it's shared with

Nobody, for commercial purposes. We don't sell data or hand it to advertisers.

We use providers to run the app: hosting, database and email delivery. They only handle what's needed to provide that service.

News emails only arrive if you asked for them, and you can unsubscribe from the email itself or from Settings.

Your rights

You can exercise any of these rights — see what we store, correct it, or delete it — from Settings, without having to ask anyone.
